The Il‑2 “Shturmovik” is one of the most iconic Soviet ground‑attack aircraft of WWII — rugged, heavily armoured, and built for close support. With over 36,000 made, it was a backbone of the Soviet air force. This Tamiya 1/72 kit gives hobbyists a faithfully detailed representation of the Il‑2, with modern tooling, multiple armament options, and authentic markings. Great for both display and modelling enjoyment.
