The Ford GPA—also known as the “Seep” (sea‑jeep)—was the amphibious version of the legendary WWII Willys/ Ford “Jeep.” This model recreates the GPA in lifelike detail, capturing both its rugged 4×4 pedigree and its ability to travel through water via a rear propeller. Designed by the U.S. military during the early 1940s, the GPA saw service in operations from North Africa to Normandy. Tamiya’s 1/35 kit brings this interesting vehicle to life with photo‑etched parts, realistic engine components, and three figures to give scale and character.
