In September 1942, the Gestapo headquarters in Oslo was bombed. German officials delivering a daytime speech in Berlin were attacked on January 30, 1943. I reconnaissance plane was first deployed in July 1941; the B Mk. IV bomber started deployment in the Spring of 1942. On May 31, 1942, the Mosquitoes led a daylight raid on Cairn. In September 1942, the Gestapo headquarters in Oslo was bombed. German officials delivering a daytime speech in Berlin were attacked on January 30, 1943. These events demonstrated the Mosquito's ability to carry heavy loads and deliver low altitude surprise attacks with accuracy. The camera equipped PR Mk. IV reconnaissance plane discovered the German Battleship Tirpitz in the Artic Circle and scouted V2 rocket facilities. The first AJ 37 Viggen has been developed to be a multi-role combat aircraft able to perform air defense, anti-ships and ground attack missions. Later on, in order to increase the effectiveness in the Swedish air defense system, the JA-37 \"Jaktviggen\" version was developed. It has been equipped with a new set of avionics, radar and weapon system able to enhance its role of all-weather fighter-interceptor aircraft. In terms of design the Viggen was characterized by the adoption of the delta-canard aerodynamic solution and it was powered by the big and powerful Volvo RM8 afterburning turbofan. Thanks to it the Viggen was able to reach the max speed of Mach 2,1. Thanks to its characteristics of strength, reliability and performance, it achieved a significant position on the European truck market and it was the most widespread industrial vehicle in Italy in the late 80s.It was declined in numerous versions and adopted several outfitting to satisfy the specific transportation needs of the users. The version with the canvas deck was one of the most common version able to guarantee a great flexibility of transport of all types of goods. Another great advantage of the Iveco 190.42 was the loading capacity compared to the overall dimension. The payload \/ size ratio provided by 190.42 was an important factor to perform transportation duties outside of the motorways and even in the smaller urban area. Often an hydraulic rear platform to make easier the loading and unloading activities was added to the canvas version. The Turbostar enjoyed considerable commercial success thanks to the two-axle \"road tractor\" version, a feature which became a reference point for road transport in the 1980s. The wide range of engines available also ensured that the vehicle performed it’s industry tasks exceptionally well over all distances.
