Legends Series to one of the greats of Formula 1 of the 70’s, the French driver François Cevert and his Tyrrell Cosworth 1971.
This reproduction at 1:32 slot scale, (3482A), a limited edition and supplied in a special packaging, it’s the car with which the driver took his first podium in Formula 1, the Grand Prix of France which was held for the first time at the new Paul Ricard circuit.
Cevert, great protected from the great Champion Jackie Stewart, entered in the British team of Ken Tyrrell replacing Gavin-Servoz half of the 1970 season at the request of the Scottish driver who saw in the Frenchman their possible heir.
In 1971, was still Tyrrell second driver in the shadow of Stewart and always achieving their podiums behind Stewart.
In 1973, with Jackie Stewart considering its withdrawal coinciding with its 100th Grand Prix kept his role of the squire of the Scot until the last race at Watkins Glen. Stewart was there World Champion for the third time and Cevert fought in training sessions to get the Pole. A fatal accident took his life instantly. Stewart retired without racing his 100th. G.P. and without being able to see as his protege became the next Formula 1 star.
